Stitching Foundation Masomo of theĀ  Netherlands has been supporting Rena Foundation Uganda contributing towards improving skills of vulnerable Ugandans since 2004. They have supported the construction of a building block, which is being used as an Early Child Development center. The plans are to develop this center into a fully fledged St .Theresa Nursery and Primary school. The center before it was closed due to the Covid 19 pandemic, was accommodating 180 young Ugandans.

Masomo has also supported deaf children to acquire skills that has enabled them to engage in economic activities that enables them to look after themselves and support their families. One of the girls supported is immaculate Mirembe, from Ihunga village Mahyoro subcounty Kitagwenda district. This girl though deaf, was trained in tailoring from St Mark School of the deaf Masaka. She has also been supported to start a tailoring business which is located at Ihunga Trading center. From her business she has been able to buy an improved goat and has continued to support herself and family
