The 5th May 2021 was a historical day for St. Theresa Schools in Mahyoro. That is the day when the Convent and Chapel of the Servant of Mary Sisters was blessed by Rt. Rev. Robert Muhiirwa, the bishop of Fort Portal Diocese and the Blessed Sacrament was Installed in their Chapel. The bishop also blessed all the St. Theresa Schools of Rena and planted a memorial tree in the school compound. The Servants of Mary Sisters have taken over the administration of St. Theresa Vocational SSS, St. Theresa Primary School and St. Theresa Nursery School. This was a joyful day attended by guests from far and near including: The superior of the Servants of Mary Sisters in Uganda, the Mayor of Mahyoro Town Council, the Members of the Board of Directors of Rena Foundation, the board members of St. Theresa Schools and other guests but all within the limitations of the Coronavirus situation.
